headlight switch bad?

my turn signals work when the parking lights are not on, When i turn the right turn signal on with the headlights it stops flashing and becomes real dim. The left turn signal is fine with the headlights on. Is this a wiring issue or a headlight switch?

Re: headlight switch bad?

Try replacing the turn signal bulbs both front and rear on the right side and see what happens.

not a head light switch.bad ground or ground connection in rs sockets.turn headlamps on and r signal on get out and try moving bulbs in sockets and see if starts flashing.if so you found tha bad one.also make sure rf marker in fender is working correctly can effect signal oper.

Re: headlight switch bad?

marker light in the fender does NOT flash with turn signal - it's a simple marker light and that's all - at least for a Camaro

If my battery wasn't dead I'd check mine.

Re: headlight switch bad?

That's strange, my 92 RS side marker lights do blink when the turn signal is actuated. In fact the two lights don't blink together, but alternate back and forth front to side. Is mine somehow special, I always thought that was normal?

Re: headlight switch bad?

Well - maybe I'm wrong - wouldn't be the first time. But I don't remember ever seeing mine flash - now I'll have to check
