I own a 1985 Pontiac Firebird and I'm installing a new radio inside

I went out for a drive after installing and my Dash Dimmer doesen't work, also when I turn the Parking+Headlights off the headlights stay Up but the bulbs are off

Theres also no sound alarm for the P+H when I remove the key

If anyone had electrical Diagrams for both I'd greatly appreciate

Personnally I think its A ground ( since the polarities for the Headlights motor dont reverse thus dont go back down) But I dont understand why the Dimmer doesen't work at all

 

have you tried disconnecting your radio ?

if you spin the **** at the headlight do they go down?

double check your wiring. I'm betting the dimmer is on your radio's cont.12v ...
