Brake lights don't work with running lights on
Got my car painted recently, and at first every time I hit my brakes, my running lights and dash lights came on. I discovered that the shop put a single filment bulb in one of my brake light sockets. I fixed that and now they work properly util I turn my running lights on - then I have no brake lights. I think the second filiment isn't working to make my brakes lights brighter when the lights are on.
I double checked my brake light bulbs, turn signal bulbs on rear and front - and all have 2 filiment bulbs as they should have. During the day when my lights are off, the brake lights work. What could the issue be? All the grounds seem to be connected....Since they work during the day, it rules out having a bad pedal switch....is it the turn signal switch not making a connection? - Please Help!!
EDIT: No rewiring was done, and as far as I know, everything worked properly prior to going to the body shop...

C'mon...someone must have something I can check, or something...I don't want to replace a turn signal switch for fun if I don't need to...
EDIT: Forget it....they work fine.
