both symptoms

both worked fine when tested before we pulled them from donor car 2weeks ago.

From the 1st time once installed on my car, they continued to spin after opening or closing.. just like the old ones. So either that wasn't the problem or the (probably bad) module got them cracked. i'l check that later...

I'll check the switch and bushings in a couple of days... once i get the "new" module...

A bad Vacuum?

OK you've got me there. There have not been vacuum actuated headlight motors for a few generations of Firebird (or Corvette) now. I have to admit I'm clueless as to how a bad vacuum would cause problems with an electrically actuated headlight motor. But I'll gladly listen to your explanation of that solution.

Replaced the module and everything works fine now.
No more popups when turning just the parking lights.
Checked all the bushings and driver's side didn't look that good... i replaced both sides just in case...

One of mine wouldn't pop up. Found out it was touching the hood. readjusted the hood and no more problem!
