Well the other day i was driving when all of a sudden my dashboard lights went out (the ones that light behind my gauges) so the next day i checked the fuses and the "inst lp or lts" was blown so i replaced it and VOILA the lights work.

Now today they went out again and this time the fuse is intact just like new so what could it be? i noticed my speedometer has now also gone out.

I checked my break lights and the one on my back window wont turn on now either.

So im stuck with the following.

Gauges lights out.
Speedometer out (needle wont budge at all)
RPM Still works perfectly and so does everything else except speedo.
Top break light is out.
Shifter plate light is out (cant see the gears at night)
Dome Light still works.
Cigarette lighter is shorting

I need to know what to look for under the dash, im gona check each fuse and post back with the results but im seriously doubting its a fuse because the one i previously replaced is still intact and now the same lights are out (before the fuse had solved the issue)

keep in mind im a noob with everything electronic so please try to explain as best as possible on what to look for and what to do.

I found a another fuse blown.. this time the fuse that messed up was the "LID" fuse.
It seems like i keep blowing random fuses.
When i replaced the "Lid" fuse now the speedometer works along with the gauge lights but im afraid im gona just end up blowing another fuse..
What am i doing wrong? i have been using some lights that plug in into my cigarrete lighter could that be the problem? should i just stop using them, they themselves already shorted out on me twice..which is kinda weird.(replaced fuse on them twice)
Top break light still doesn't work.
