LED Brake Light Conversion - is it still available?
I have a 92 Camaro Vert with a third brake light in the spoiler. All five of the bulbs are burnt out. I have seen talk on here of LED conversion kits available from custom-leds.com, but it seems that site doesn't exist anymore. Does anyone know if there are any LED conversion kits available anywhere? If not does anyone know what I would need to do it myself?
If not, what are the best bulbs to get? I've heard the proper ones are 891, but there are ones at Radio Shack for cheaper. I heard those have melted the brake light plastic though...
Any suggestions? Thanks!

I never had any issues with the Radio Shack bulbs. They are much cheaper.
If you wanted LED - I'd say easiest cheapest would be the flexible strip SMD LEDs they have at AutoZone or advance. $14 buys about 12" worth, and you can cut them shorter to fit. They are really bright - I have white ones mounted under my hood, it lights up the entire engine bay at night
