Oh all mighty wizards or wiring, I'm in need of your assistance please
Ok since this the most appropriate category for me to post in, i need help with my new gauges. I tried the search on here and got nothin, even the mighty google failed me.
I bought a few equus gauges and will be in the process of wiring them in. I made sure they were small enough to fit in stock location. My question is with the tach and fuel gauge. what is the ohms on my fuel gauge? (85 camaro with a cluster from a z, if that helps).
Also I havent bought a tach because I want it to fit in the stock location. Does anyone have one they'd recommend to fit, I know there are slim tachs out there but I dont wanna do trial and error when I can ask and get it right the first time. I have no problem with cutting, shaving, grinding or any other means of removing material to fit it in. My main concern is with the cluster. I need all my signals and things to work, which is kinda obvious but its always nice to clarify.
Just my many attempts to have a clean looking car because I believe having a good tach on the and the stock one in the console doing nothing is tacky.... or tachy in this case. Any and all help would be great appreciated
