Starter Relay Failing
I have a 1992 Z28 5.7.. The starter relay (small square relay) under the dash is constantly failing. I replaced it 3 times in the past 4 weeks. The car starts fine for a few days and then the same issue again. The starter doesn't even engage before the relay failing. Any ideas ? Could it be faulty starter ? Or may be a short somewhere? The relays are cheap , around $10, but its still a pain, never knowing if the car will start or not.

Re: Starter Relay Failing
Bypass the relay and then see if problem occurs. If it still does , you know relay is not the problem.
You can delete relay altogether if you wish.
VATS will still disable the fuel injectors so car can't be started
