Ok guys I just bought a 83 Z28 305 crossfire injection. The car has sat for two years. I had to put a fuel pump in it and rewire the sending unit. I've replaced the heater core and tuned it up. The car ran when I got it but vey poorly due to bad gas and low fuel pressure. The check engine light would go off until I performed the work. Now the engine light comes on dim (.94v) and the computer is getting hot (epoxy smell) I'v had the computer apart nothing burned. Checked all the grounds droped the tank again and found nothing. After reinstalling the tank everything worked fine for about 5 min and it started again. I have narrowed it to the gage circuit. Also the engine idles fast with the light on dim and when I pull the gage fuse it runs normal just no gages. Any sugestions also having trouble finding flow charts and wiring diagrams if any body could point me in the right direction. I also checked for mouse nests and checked all harnesses.

is there any on line flow charts for 83 z-28 crossfire's? found a bad ground at the back of the head which improved the problem but didn't fix it. something is feeding back through the check engine light while its running getting .25v cant find any shorts thinking its in one of the sensors.
