may want to check over in the carb section of the site, but minimum you'll need to change is the distributor (HEI), rewire the fuel pump relay, and install a return-style FPR. No need for an ignition box (optional). You'll also need to get a lockup kit for the transmission.

Re: TBI to Carb distributer question
If TBI has fan switch already ,no changed needed
Something like one of these fan switches in the temp operating range of your choice

Re: TBI to Carb distributer question
Not up to speed on TBI cars but IF the computer ran the fans like on the TPI cars you now need a fan switch in the head wired to the fan(s) relay to operate the fan(s).

Re: TBI to Carb distributer question
On the fan, a better option is a seperate fan controller - I installed one 4 years ago and haven't had any overheating issues since. It's adjustable, has provisions for A/C and manual on/off toggles, probes the radiator so no more face full of coolant changing out that factory switch, and easy to wire. The one I have is a Flex-a-lite, there are others more and less expensive - but the Flex-a-lite was the best $90 I ever spent!
But on a TBI car, you don't need to do anything - the factory fan wiring has nothing to do with the ECM, and should work fine.
