86 iroc keeps cutting off

i bought the car and every 10 mins the car like cuts off and u mess with a fuse and it cuts back on i was told it was the key not having a sensor but idk guys help

1) what fuse are you "messing with"? Maybe that's a clue as to what's wrong?

2) the "sensor in the key" - they are referring to VATS (Vehicle Anti Theft System), and you don't have it in a 1986 car, so that's not an issue.
