No High Beams
I have a 91 Firebird Formula 305, nothing happens when I was use the middle switch to turn the brights/high beams on, I am going to try to wire the wires directly so to speak to see if it is the switch. Is there any other information that would help me to resolve this problem, anythinggg is helpful, lol

Re: No High Beams
just had similar problem...but no lights high or low. my issue was the dimmer switch...on top of steering column under dash...there is a white and chrome bracket...yellow wire powering it when lights are on and 2 wires coming out ...one high one low.....see if either has power when you pull the signal lever for high to low

Re: No High Beams
The hi/lo switch is attached to the steering column, at the bottom, just above the brake pedal on the pass side of the column - move the turn signal switch and you'll see a rod moving in the column that pushes the button on the hi/lo switch.
The switch might be bad, or just need adjusted - loosen the screws a tad and slide the switch up the column a tiny bit, retighten and try it - but don't overtighten them, they strip out easily. You need a 7mm socket or nutdriver.
If you have tilt wheel, set the tilt on the wheel where you normally have it set to drive, and then adjust it. With the wheel tilting, there's never enough adjustment in the switch for it to work at all tilt settings.
