I've had my third gen for over a year now, and I've always had a police & fire scanner in the car. Since I put it in I have used a crappy suction cup wire antenna which mounts inside the vehicle. It is time to upgrade to something better. Does anyone else have a scanner in their third gen? Any recommendations on which scanner antenna to get?

BTW my scanner is a Uniden 796d, and I do use it to receive digital trunking.
