so i finally i got my 355 carb in my camaro now it wont start with the key i have no power to anything but headlights and tail lights nothing else does any one know what it can be?

 

Did you chop any part of your harness? Check all of your grounds, and make sure all connections to the battery/alt are free of corrosion.

 

ya i did shop my harness but i had my other 350 in before the 355 and it work fine so im so tires of looking for the problem

 

If you chopped your Drivers side harness, that might be your problem. All of the dash functions get their power from the DS harness. It is a black box right behind your wheel well. If you chopped all of the wires going into that loom, you'll have to figure out which wires go where, and wire them back up.

 

i didnt touch any of those i took all the pass side wires out and some of the a/c heater and all wires that go to the radio
