1988 2.8 auto sc, I'm having a hard time finding a complete fuel system diagram. My fuel pump relay has no power on the orange wire unless i jump out the red and orange wires at the plug near the battery. I read on the diagrams i can find that there is an inline fuse but i had assumed it was the fuse in the fuse panel and that waterproof plug bolted to the inner passenger side fender was a test plug, (there are 2 pf them). any help by would be great thanks, I'm a 60s guy lol this 80s bs is killing me

 

The fuse isn't in the fuse block... The 'test plug' you're talking about, sure sounds like the inline fuse holder. If it looks like the pic, it's the fuse holder... Should have a 20 amp fuse in it.

The GM Service Manual is what you want. www.HELMinc.com or look for a used one on Ebay for your year/model car. Expect to spend $20-40 for one in nice shape, but they're really indispensable.
