Start enable relay

Does anyone have or can some get a picture of the start enable relay and its exact location. I think the previous owners of my 92RS some how took it out or moved it. It is not where it is supposed to be. What really doesn't make any sense is the car should not start at any time with out it, yet it does (sometimes).

The start enable relay is only a security cutout as part of VATS;
easily removed or bypassed to prevent problems ( common ) .
Then you end up with a old school starting system where power goes direct from key to starter with no relay

I still need to know what the relay and or plug look like. There are no relays or plugs under the kick panel with the wire colors specified.

Re: Start enable relay

Look up under the kick panel, also up in the wiring mess - I found mine tucked up inside the dash in a mess of wires.

Trace the dark green large guage wire from the neutral safety switch backwards to it, or trace the large guage yellow wire from the ignition switch to it. The ignition switch is located on top of the steering column on the left side, the NSS is either in the center console (auto car) or above the clutch (manual car).
