silver stars for my 84 Camaro

Hello friends,

I have been reading through the forums lately looking for the best upgrade for my headlights. My Camaro is an 1984 and is in need of brighter lights. After reading anything I could find on the subject I decided that it would be best if I went with a new set of silver stars from Sylvania. Up here in my neck of the woods they are $32 a piece. The question that I have is this, how do I know which one is for high beam and which one is for low beam and which one is for the high beam? Here are the silver stars available.....

H4651ST
H4656ST
H4666ST
H6024ST
H6054ST

Here is the web url to the parts store, http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4/Auto/AutoHeadlights/SealedBeam/PRDOVR~0203691P/Sylvania%252BSilverstar%252BSealed%252BBeams.jsp?locale=en

if you are using these silver stars on your camaro please comment and let me know what you think, all suggestions and comments and welcomed.

Re: silver stars for my 84 Camaro

These headlights are awesome! I've had both high and low beams for over two years now, and they still have a nice blue-ish kinda white light to them(thats how it looks to me, I have bad eyes) but I can definitely tell you they haven't turned to that brownish color light that cheap headlights do after a while.

100% recommended!

I saw an in-store demo, SilverStars vs. OE. The former were far brighter in my estimation, but the demo was in store. At any rate, I purchased and have no regrets.

Re: silver stars for my 84 Camaro

Well just a fast update....went down to the auto parts store and got a pair of low beams (silver star) I have to say they look terrific and the color looks more natural and seems to "reach out there" more than the originals. Tomorrow I plan on picking up the high beams too. Then all I need to do is set them up....they really need to be re-aimed. Really a worth while investment...and took about 2-3 minutes a side to change. A real no brainer.
