TPI conversion help needed.

I'm wanting to throw TPI on a old carbed 350 car.

I have a fuel injection wiring harness and complete tpi motor and distributer.

Can I use the old 73 style coil on the car?
What else do I need?

I'm tired of getting confused searching and reading a bunch of crap that doesn't apply to my situation. Written by people not knowing what they need themselves.

So at this point if you say search. YOUR RETARDED!

People who have knowledge. I would appreciate a straight answer that could save money. I've spent all my project money at this point and things need to be precise and thought through.

Thanks for your time and knowlege.
Todd

You have just labeled yourself as the TGO forums retard...if you don't believe me read your post a few times...

Now, indeed you do need to search for the info you're looking for, however, I do know that it's hit or miss with the search option... sooooooooo... what you need is more than just a TPI setup... you will need to replace the fuel tank with a FI fuel tank, you will need to pick up all of the hardware needed to run the electric in tank fuel pump... you will need to get a hold of an ECM for FI vehicles, you will need all of the sensors that the TPI calls for, unless you are going to have a custom chip and therefore will be able to disable those parameters... on the distributor, you will need to use a distributor that is for 87-92 F bodies... everything must run in unison... you will have to also get a 350 knock sensor and the coolant sensor as well, but not completely sure on that one...

I did state I already have searched. And in no way am I a retard. Usually when you try to post something serious. You get about 100 kids that now know nothing, trying to crap on someone. When not certain, it is better to ask and make sure what you are doing is correct. Than to try it, and mess everything up including you budget.

This is not my first time around the block. I've learned the hard way about guessing on something your doing for the first time.

Well, I have a complete motor with sensors, computer, and I'm going to use an external 255 fuel pump. And have a second tpi with sensors.

I'm throwing the old carbed motor back into the other car I'm robbing from. So it will need to be converted to fuel injection as well. To resale and get some money back for a paint job.

Thanks for your time.

So I guess the coil type doesn't matter?
