pull down hatch

im rewiring my car and i have the pull down hatch and i want to know if i t is easyer to rewire it or replace it with a non pull down?

If you have an '86 pulldown unit. Overall the wiring is pretty simple. Are you rewiring after a fire or rodent issue?

This guide should be more than enough to get you through it with pics and stuff. It covers rebuilding the motor but between it and your general Haynes or Chilton Wiring diagrams it shouldn't be too bad.

well thanks for the link but i know my pull down work cuz it was working before i started rewiring the car.

my problem is that that all the wires that go to the back of the car end at the side of the driver seat. my switch is not wired up or anything i have no wires under my dash or a fuse block.
