Injection Rejection

With the key in the RUN position (engine off) probe both sides of the non-operating injector socket with the injector removed.

What are your findings?

Re: Injection Rejection

On the drivers side using a volt meter it reads on the wires as follow
Black = 0
Black/Purple = goes from -0.02 to 0.032
On the passenger side
Black = 11.72
Black/Green= 0.031 to 0.98

I`m not very good with volt meter.

Re: Injection Rejection

Check your injector fuses. If one is blown you need to find the short. You may have shorted injector coils that are pulling too much current.

Re: Injection Rejection

Beware as I said of one or more injector coils with low resistance(shorted). Often the coils will function well enough to avoid suspicion until heated. When heated, the faulty coils tend to short more severely pushing current high and blowing the fuse(s). Also, look carefully for any frayed portions in the harness or breaks in insulation.
