how to install autometer gauges

I just went through instruction for all of my new autometer gauges for my LT1/T56 swap. i am using a new stand alone harness.

the harness has all the engine connectors for all the sensors.

the autometer gauges comes with new senders for some the gauges. if i remove the harness plug and sender and install the autometer sender and wire it to the gauge then what happens with the connectors on the engine harness? does the computer not get any information from these senders now (temp, oil, etc...) and do i just tuck away the harness connectors that will not be loose?

help would be much appreciated. thanks.

I have autometer speedometer, tachometer, voltmeter, boost, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, and fuel level.

The ECM receives no information VIA gage senders.
