Are these volts normal?

Trying to figure out why It won't start.

I'm getting:
12.4 volts from the battery.
11.90 volts from the ignition wire connecting to distributor with key "on".
7-8 volts from the ignition wire while cranking.

are any of these numbers out of range? Problem is no spark.

Re: Are these volts normal?

got done testing the coil...

primary resistance was normal but couldn't pick up a reading for the secondary resistance. Does this mean that I need a new coil?
