guages not working?
I have recently been restoring my 86 firebird and put in a set of used guages. I am swapping the engine so everyhting is disconected except for the engine mounts. When I put the car into accesory mode the right side green arrow on the guage cluster lights up ( does not blink ) and when I put the car to signal the car signals but the arrow still stays solid green and does not come off when I signal for the left signal. Also, the head lights motor was working fine but now it doesn't go down. I think the reason this is happening is because the engine bay wiring is all disconected but not sure. I would hate to think that I bought a guage cluster that doesn't work. the guage cluster actually looked to be in good condition. when i put the interior lights on the shifting letter ( P N O D 1 2 ) all light up red but the guage cluster doesn't.

bulk head is the mass of wires that comes out of your fire wall by the master cylinder. Its attached to the wall using a bolt.
