passenger brake light

I have a 89 trans am. My passenger side brake lights will not turn on when the brake is pressed however the driver and 3rd brake lights do come on. The headlights and rear running lights work fine. I have new bulbs. Any suggestions.Thanks.

Re: passenger brake light

Really the only place the problem could be is in the wiring harness behind the taillights. First place I would check is the splice between the driver's side wiring and the passenger's side wiring. If the splice is good check the sockets.

Re: passenger brake light

I will check it out thanks. Also, the passenger turn signal is also not working. I think this runs off the same circuit?

Re: passenger brake light

Different circuit, same harness in the rear. What about the reverse light on that side? Sounds like you may have a bad harness.
