My 89 trans am won't start and i by passes my starter relay. It turns over now but won't fire. I think i have security issues and where is it and can i by pass it.
The security light isn't coming on either.

 

Security can be bypassed. First you will need to read the resistor value in the key and install a resistor under the dash on the vats connector. It will normally have 2 small white wires in a orange sheath. Next you will have to remove the starter lock out relay, located in the lower kick panel on the drivers side. I think there should be two large yellow wires that you will have to tie together, check with a diagram first. And thats it. If the security light is not coming on i would check an make sure that you are making spark while its cranking cus it may be more than one problem.
