Ok, I just swapped over to a 5spd in my 83 CFI camaro. I also took a better condition speedo out of a 84 V-6 car and put it in my car. It does not have the vehicle speed signal generator on the back. I tossed the cruise control system cause it didnt work and I wanted to go to one speedo cable. I havent driven it yet cause it is still being put back together.

My question is, will this cause problems with my computer by removing the original speedo with the signal generator on the back of it?
