I would get a Hayes or the like manual. They will list how to test to fuel circuit to be sure it's working correctly. Not sure if the 91 is the same as my 88 but here is some info that could help:
Inside the car is the computer connector by the steering column, jumping pin G to ground should turn the pump on (please search here to be sure that is the right pin)
If the pump does not run then your fuel pump relay or the wires to the pump or the pump itself is not working. This bypasses all the other computer requirements like the computer itself or the oil pressure switch and is supposed to test this stuff so you can figure out which side the problem is on. If it works when you do this then you need to look at the computer , oil pressure switch or other issues (like bad connections or grounds) as to why the pump works manual and not when the key is turned on. BTW when you turn on the key the pump should run for 2-5 seconds to pressurize the system and then turn off. This is supposed to be enough to get the car to fire and then when oil pressure builds in a few seconds it closes the oil pressure switch which turns on the fuel pump and keeps the car running.

Re: electric problem... driving me crazy, please help
I see its a 91 RS 305 so I assume tbi so the fuel pump prime is under the hood on the passenger side near the hood light connecter look for a red wire that is not hooked up, connect it to the battery with a jumper wire and 20 amp fuse and you should hear the pump. If this don't work next check the relay, the relay is on the drivers side mounted near the firewall, there are 2 identical relays which is good cause you can swap they and try step one again. If you can hear the pump but still no fuel disconnect the fuel filter, put a bucket under it and try again,if fuel sprays out that the filter is clogged, if still no fuel then the rubber connector from pump to sending unit is rotted out, you need to drop the tank and change it (good time to flush tank, change pump and clean sender as you only want to drop it once). If the pump doesn't make noise than its dead and again time to drop the tank. I'll double check the factory manual tomorrow if i get a chance, good luck. Just did mine was told todays gas blend is not frendly to that old piece of rubber.
