86 Rear defrost wiring colors.

Engine: LG4
Transmission: 200r4
Axle/Gears: Stock
86 Rear defrost wiring colors.
Alright, i've already looked through about 30 searched posts and my chilton for this, but what color/where are the wires for the rear hatch defrost, in an 86 T/A?
There's a purple 6-10(?) gauge wire on the driver side that looks clipped,
and a light blue that's long enough to reach the connector on the pass. side, pulled out of some connector.
How were they originally routed? Up along the struts?
Thanks in advance for any help, i live in MN so getting this taken care of is a big deal.
*Also, the defrost button does light up so i figure they weren't just cut because they were non-functional.
