For those willing to help THANK YOU. I have an 82 trans am I bought it bout 2 yrs ago and the people I bought the car from had keyless everything neons interfaces and much more useless and non working add-ons. The wiring has been cut spliced fangdangled and screwed the headlight system dash lights heater system won't function headlight motors are good and bulbs check fine. It used to have the factory fuel injected 305 but has since been swapped for a carbed one. By now your probably wondering what exactly am I asking for... Some sort of wiring diagrams or shematics or something. I am at my wits end. On a unrelated note overdrive won't work on my 700R4 won't even attempt to shift to it and I can't figure out how to wire the lock up solinoid. Any help woud be more than greatful again thanks. you could get a Haynes or Chilton manual. they both have basic schematics for each system. as far as the overdrive, it's controlled by the ecm and they may have hacked into that too.

 

Well let's put it this way the wiring in the engine compartment has been hacked up the dash wiring has been hacked up. The ecu is still in the dash. The torque lock is hacked up. I'm seriously considering ripping the dash out to trace n fix or eliminate needless wires. If I could get schematics of some one I wouldn't need to shell out the 30 bucks for a manual when all I need out of it is a few pages
