Fuel delivery problem?
I have an 89 camaro. I recently swapped the old 305 which locked up to a 305 off of a 93 Caprice. I had to adjust the timing because of an explosion on initial start up. I sent it to a mechanic shop. The fuel pump was working before I sent it. (At the turn off the key I heard a hum from the fuel pump) I could see the injectors on top of the carburator spit gas into the intake too. Well, after sending it to the mechanic, he told me that while moving around a harness near the right side firewall, both, injectors stopped working. He said that two fuses busted under the dash. One to the injectors and the other to the fuel pump. He replaced them, and now I dont hear the fuel pump hum, nor do I see the injectors fire. I know that the car runs because when I put starting fluid and trickle gas into the carb it runs like a dream. What could they have done? Relay? Could they have burned the fuel pump? I dont know? I need help before I buy a fuel pump. Where are the relays located?

Ok so I fixed the problem, the car starts up and runs, but runs weak. I used a Solus computer to check the Service Engine light. It read one code. 22 Throttle position Sensor to low. Could that be why its weak, and when I step on the gas it sputters, or could it be something else?

Repairing the TPS problem should be your first step.
If it’s telling the car you want to go 5 MPH that’s what’s gonna happen.

How bout those too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime
and the ones that need headlights for a little rain

I found out that on the motor I took out there is a sensor between cylinder 6-8. Oxygen sensor? The car also needs to have the timing checked. How do you do a timing adjustment? the tps is showing .71 I believe.
