I have searched a bit and not really finding the answer I need so here we go..... I have recently purchased a 1985 Z28. The power locks were not working when I got her, so I have been working on that issue. I found that the PO had removed the lock relay for some reason. What relays specifically do I need to go to the local parts store and get. The local junkyards don't have any third gens, so a used oem relay is not gonna happen. I have read that I can simpally use two aftermarket relays, but am totally unsure as to which I need.

Can someone please tell me what relays I can go to the parts store and get that will substitute for the missing factory power locks relay??.....

 

 

Ive googled that and hane not come up with anything.... does anyone know the cross to a bosch or anything....

 

 

ah ok TY Nina.... I was hoping to get it local, but I might have to order it.... I read about using 2 standard relays, but it is all greek to me trying to figure out how to wire it up....

 

I was able to track one down at AutoZone.... now I was able to trace my issue down to the door lock actuators.... relay clicks but actuators arent doing anything so it has to be them....
