Bulb doesn't match socket
I have a 1991 camaro RS with the front end off a 1984 camaro Z28. The little lights under the headlights (forgot if they're turn signals or something else) won't plug in to the sockets. I was going to just cut the nuns off the lights and duct tape them in, but that's probably a horrible idea. Anyways.... I need some help because I can't find any of the bulbs. I don't know what they are. And could I just replace the light thing where they plug in? I know this is vague, but help would be appreciated.

Re: Bulb doesn't match socket
GM uses a 2057 bulb but a 1157 is the same style. Its a two fillament bulb. There should be three wires on the socket. The bulb only goes in one way. If it wount lock in one way turn it 180 degrees and try again.
You should see that one of the nubs is higher than the other. Thats so the light will onlt fit one way.
Now many times I have seen some cheap bulbs have the wrong base. A bulb labeled 2057 and have a 2056 base. If the base has both the nubs at equal heights then its wrong.
