SO I pulled on my headlight switch and they flickered and went of....the switch was no good.. when i went to autozone the only switches that were available were for canada models with or without daytime running lights... i got the 1 without and it plugs in and works orectly but i still dont have cluster lights... i checked the fuse and its stil good... all the other lights in the dash are working just not the backlighting ones....where should i look to solve this issue?

 

Did you check for power on both sides of the instruments lamp fuse with the switch on?
If no power then go to the switch and at terminal 2 (green wire at the front) and check for power with the switch on. No power then its not going through the switch. If there is power then its in the wire from the switch to the fuse.

If you have power both sides of the fuse then there may be a short in the gray wire for the instument lights or maybe a ground wire came loose.
