upgrading my distributor-help!

thinking about upgrading my stock distributor to a higher output one in my 85 z28 305 tpi. my problem is every (distib) i see on ebay has that vacuam thing on it and my stock doesn't. will it still work for my car

No, your car's timing is computer-controlled. You can just change your module and coil for aftermarket performance versions if you like, but don't expect any noticeable gain from it if there's nothing wrong with the ones you have now.

cool thanx,any other cheap was two squeeze a little more hp . got air hog filter an air foil and electrical stabilizer all ready on the car.

I wouldn't count on any of those to squeeze enough power out of the car to justify their prices.

Have a question for you a bit off topic,

That Air Hog Filter, its a reusable filter from Fram? Is it a dry filter or oiled?
I like the reusuable filters like AEM Dryflow but don't want the oil like K&N.
