Hello Im installing a shift light with launch control in my 85 iroc that is not computer controlled , but dose have a t56 with the pigtail hanging out from the VSS . How would one go about wiring this ?. I do not know witch one to buy , so suggestions are welcome , one that will fit in a 2 1/8 gage pod . MSD 8360 dizzy with 6al with white tac wirer from box .

 

What do the shift light install instruction say?
Usually one wire for tacho signal and one wire for the VSS output from the computer;
which you don't have

 

Did not buy yet , if it was just a shif light i would have no problem wiring it . Its the atvating the VSS for the launch control that I am questioning . Right now the VSS is just mounted on the trans . I do not want to buy this type of light , if I can not hook up on a Non computer controlled vehicle .Thanks

 

You need to look at the install instructions and see what signal they require

The Raptor unit has a single wire to pickup the VSS signal that goes from ECM to speedo ; not the speed signal from VSS to ECM ( 2 wires )
