Power Bulge Wiring 83 Firebird
So I was able to get a hold of the entire power bulge assembly for my '83 Firebird with the 305 and 4bbl E4ME Rochester. I tested the louver solenoid and vacuum switch, both are working correctly.
I am only having an issue with finding out if my car has the right wires to hook up for the power to the manifold vacuum switch. From what it looks like, there is a 2-pin "P.E.D." plug right above the brake booster and it has the pins/wires labeled "A" and "B". The Vacuum switch has the pins labeled the same. I'm not sure the P.E.D. plug is where the power is supposed to come from or not, or even what it does at this point... I have included the wiring diagram for the 84 T/A, but it does say that the wire that goes to the Manifold Vacuum Switch is on the "Trans Am Only". What is the P.E.D., and if it is not the correct plug, is there another place I could wire power from that would only let the louver work when the car is warm like factory?
Edit: the hood louver is located on the very bottom right of the wiring diagram
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Power Bulge Wiring 83 Firebird
So now I have found the right path for the wirig, but I'm having a hard time finding out if my car has the "Cold Override Switch" or the "Thermal Vacuum Switch" (same thing I believe). And if so, where is it located? If I can find that I can just run a wire from the COS/TVS to the vacuum switch I have and everything will work perfectly. Can anyone tell me where this cold/thermal switch is located on these cars?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
