Power to Accel Super Coil
Really Hope someone can help me with this as i am stumped. I have an 87 Trans Am 350 TPI. I currently have no spark coming from the remote Accel ignition coil. It has a new distributor and i am getting 12V from the pink wire in the gray connector. When i check the terminals on coil i am reading no voltage with key in the on position. When i take the wires off the coil i am reading 12V. So it seems that there is power in the wire but when it is hooked to the coil i read 0V.
Does anyone have an ideas?
Thanks

that means that there is not any amps going thru the circuit. are you using a digital voltmeter. if so get a analog meter. there could be a fuse problem as well.get an analog meter and check it out.

I used a digital one. What do you mean by fuse problem? I have checked all under dash fuses and all are fine.

Swap your stock coil back on and see what happens. My car eats the aftermarket coils for breakfast.Been through 2 of them and will prolly stay stock till I try a D.U.I. distributor set up.
