Ok, I have a 92 Formula and heres the story, When I first got the car I did the upgrade where you take the snorkel and crap airfilter and put an open filter on it.... well I hit the distributor cables under the filter... This inturn caused the wire/ fusible link to blow... the one by the starter.... After this I put this link on top of my engine so I could get to it easier if it were to blow ever again... AND IT DOES..... from time to time it will blow and its annoying.... Here is what causes it mainly: when I hit my rear defrost button = insta-blow..... when I hold the brakes too long with the heater on I guess... It MELTED....yes, MELTED the entire link... And one time it blew without me touching the rear defrost or the brakes..... Someone please point me in the right direction. Also, last night was when I was in traffic backed up for 2 miles away from my exit.....moving 1mph, this is when I held the brakes too long... it blew in the middle of 400000 cars... embarassing as I pushed this thing fromt he middle lane to the emergency lane... while no one offered to help BTW

Likely one of the others are also blown and the needed current is being pulled through the one good one that you keep messing with overloading it
