Lowbeams bright at times and other times dim. Highbeams have a residual glow when only lowbeams are on. freezes up the driver side blinker at times. I can push on the wire connections and the brightness goes in and out so I think it's just bad connections and not the dimmer switch in the column. What's the best approach here? I'm considering stripping the wires, getting new connectors for the sealbeams, and soldering them onto the harness to get a better connection.

Could also check the ground wires for the headlights. IIRC, they're up front on the passenger side.

Thanks. I'll look for those ground wires.
