Re: 350 swap wiring help?
Exactly driver side wiring.
3 harnesses come out of firewall ..
1) driver side harness under brake booster
2) pass side harness near fender
3) heater harness by the heater box
The wires from the pass side harness are all computer related. They can all go. There are a few wires, that run from that pas sside harness, through the large loom that runs behind engine, to the driver side - things like fan relay, fuel pump relay, etc. Those wires you can fish out through that rear loom, and bundle with the pass side wires.
I say bundle because, you should not remove them, but rather bundle all of them, and tuck them into the pass side fender - they all tuck away sight unseen, and they will be there just in case - only a dumba$$ hacks out the wiring before the job is done (and later regrets jumping the gun!). AFTER your swap is done, and all runs well and works as it should after a few months of testing, THEN you can remove the entire harness from the connector. TPI harnesses are sellable, so you can ebay or whatever and recoup some cash.
EVERYTHING that comes out of the driver side firewall connector is all necessary - this is all lights, interior wiring, starter wires, etc.
Heater harness stuff is all left alone as well.

Also ASE Doc has started a thread with some Camaro diagrams and useful links to other diagrams. HTH!

Re: 350 swap wiring help?
Did the smart thing and left everything there till motor was in a checked the gauges. Then cut out everything that was left unplugged. Minus the AC ****. The PO thought ripping the ac out of a daily driver was smart.... for the like two hp it saves.

Re: 350 swap wiring help?
I'm taking out everything that's unneeded and going with a red-line setup with only the essentials. The areas you should be most concerned with is the starter setup, the alternator circuit, and the AC wires.
