Need to replace my wiper motor but not sure of type
I'm pretty sure my windshield wiper motor is going bad as on high my wipers are really slow. Was going to replace it and go to Advance Auto Parts to buy a new one and they have 2 different kinds. A 2 terminal and a 3 terminal.
What are the differences in the two?
Mine has a washer fluid pump in the same housing as the wiper motor but it's a separate part as I've already replaced it.
The wiring harness going into mine has four terminals on the end of it, but I think one goes to the washer pump.
But at Advance, in their pictures, both the 2 terminal and 3 terminal wiper motors show 3 metal connectors for the wire connection.
The 2 terminal has been discontinued and they can't even get it anymore, so I'm hoping I can use the 3 terminal, but they have to order it direct from the factory so I have to pay for it up front and want to make sure I'm ordering the right component.
Thanks!
EDIT:
Checking on some websites, it looks like some O'Reilly part stores in my area have the 2 terminal one, and another has the 3 terminal one. I'll probably just take mine off tomorrow and go to them and compare them side by side to see if I can figure out which one I need unless someone answers here tonight and knows for sure which one I need
