digital dash speedometer calibration

i have a 1987 trans am, 305 tpi, 700r4 trans...my speedometer is 5 miles over the speed you are going, and when you go faster the more off it becomes...i have the digital dash(very sweet), how can i calibrate the speedometer on this baby???

You ever change the rear axle or axle gear ratio? Sounds like you need to replace the drive/driven gear in the transmission to correct the VSS signal to the dash. This is after you figure out exactly what gears are in the back.
