smog and a/c removal
Hi everyone I've been on the site for a couple years now but this is my first post. Well I'm doing an engine swap in my '84 berlinetta from the worn out 305 to a 383 and wanted to clean up the engine compartment. What will I need to do too remove the a/c and smog components? Id like to get rid of as much as possible as far as wires and hoses. Sorry if this has been discussed and I missed it or if I'm posted in the wrong place.

What about all the wires? Would I just cut the ones I don't need off? Would this cause issues since I will no longer hhave the o2 sensors pluged in ect.?

Sorry - thought you wanted to know about A/C and smog pump.
Is this car currently factory carbed or injected?
There's a tech article on carb swap which basically covers anyone swapping out of factory stuff to aftermarket carb - the TBI to Carb article - click main page, tech articles
