Car: 1985 Firebird S/E
Engine: SBC 350, mild cam Vortec heads
Transmission: Rebuilt 700R4 vette servo+shift kit
Axle/Gears: 3.73
Alternator conversion help
Hi I need to replace my alternator and jegs has a nice 1 wire one but our cars are not 1 wire can i convert to this alternator? If so how?

I just went to a CS144 with that bracket you need for the conversion and it is the way to go. Got a alternator off of a 96 Caprice that is 140 amp and it is a new world. One of the best mods you can do. I have the dayco number of the new belt you need in the car.
