i had hit a pole and my passenger side bumper got pushed in, now my alternator isnt charging the system. i tested the alternator a couple times and its good i looked over the wire harness and it looked ok, any suggestions,please,im in despreate need of help

 

Check behind the bumper that you do not have a dead short anywhere. I had my trans am for sale on private property and an old lady had backinto the passenger fender, pushed it in and cracked the light right in the middle. Running the car while damaged, would not charge. I thought my alternator had shorted out. I took the car in to get fixed, got a new nose cone and fender, everything was fixed when I got the car back from the shop. I realized my alternator was working and the system was charging again.
