Light for Radiator fan?
I just purchased a Flex-a-lite Adjustable Electric Fan Controller, model 31147. I have one on my car now but it was a cheap Auto zone model and it blew out on me. I just needed to know what wire i would splice into in order to run a small light or LED to it. I want the LED to turn on whenever the fan turns on just so i know when im in the car that its on,and that way i can see if it shuts off or not. Im not sure whether id cut into the power wire or not. Does it have constant power running to it? Or would i cut into the small gray wire that runs to the relay?
Thanks

Whatever color the wire that runs from the fan to terminal C on the unit is:

Then, add a ground to the LED.
When the controller sends 12v+ to the fan, 12v+ will also be run to your LED.
