Fused wire next to battery
Hi, I wrote a long post, But I wanted to add this into another post because this is a major problem for me,a dn I think it accounts for almost all of my isues with this car...
the engine harness i got was missing the IN LINE Fuse wire that ran off the battery and is supposed to give constant power to the ECM Via two Cavitys and have somethign to do with the fuel relay.. well.. I rigged up a wire, and traced two spliced orange wires in the engine harness by the drivers side back of the engine... one orange wire ran back to one of the ECM constant power cavitys and the other orange wire ran over by the mass air, and when i put the two wires together it completed the circuit i saw in the shop manual.
. Only thing is?? WHERE do you hook that inline Fuse wire to??? do I splice it into the two orange wires i repaired? does it connect somewhere to the relays??.. I have one wire hanging out of the fuel pump switch or relay... and the wires are Inline with eachother like this [D][E][C][B][A] and I cant quite remember right now but Im sure it was the [E] that had the wire hanging from it... Ive tried to run constant power to it, and all it does is jump the fuel pump and turn the pump on, ign off or on and never shuts off..i dont know whats going on can someone help out?? thanks alot!

The original location of the inline fuse is from the battery to the 12 AWG orange wire which goes to the fuel pump relay, fuel pump pressure switch, and the ECM.
