No power to fuse box

What wires running to the c100 connector on the driver side fire wall give power to the fuse box in the car? Is it the red wire's that runs from the starter that also powers the distributor?

Re: No power to fuse box

There's 2 of those big red wires; neither one powers the dist directly though. Each one powers about half of the car. The ignition switch gets its battery from one of them, and the wire to the dist is then downstream of the ign sw and is not red, it's pink.

Each of the big red ones has a fusible link in it, at the starter. Sounds like one of those fuses has blown.

Re: No power to fuse box

k thanks for the input. What happen was when i was repining them red wires i think 1 of them broke in half cause it bent and i try to straighten the metal piece out but it must be broken in half. Although it didn't fall apart the crack must be causing it not to get power. I cant find any of them pins anywhere but i found a link on another post where they sell them in a pack of 100 for like $40 something dollars. I don't need 100 just need 1. I'm gonna try the fuseable links first just for sh** and giggles.
