hi I have just got a 97 z28 with the lt1 never have messed with cars always old trucks, but anyways i had taken out my oem license plate light and put in a little tube light and had no problums. but then one of my dumb dumb friends ran into my car and busted the light. so i had to go buy a new one but this time all i could find was a strip of 6 led light so i wired it on. now when my alarm goes off none of my lights flash- i have all running lights and blinkers and brake lights, other than when the alarm goes off, and my radio no longer works, and my trunk pop no longer works anyone know what to do i have looked at fuses all ok when i hit the trunk pop i can hear the relay clicking but thats it... and also the mileage gage no longer shows anything

 

its wired wrong and you are messing up the chassis ground back there

 

but the light works it will only work wired on one way...... so should i rewire and reground everything?
