Temp Gauge Wire

I recently bought an 87 z28 with a 383.
I'm thinking when they dropped the 383 in they never hooked up the temp gage wire to the gage.
I have found the wire I just don't know where the wire running from the gage is so I can hook it up.
Can you help?

Re: Temp Gauge Wire

the gauge wire will be coming from the driver side connector on the firewall (C100). based off your car info, it should be a light green wire on pin F7. You can get a better idea on the layout here:

Its C100 F5, DK GRN. Those GM diagrams are very misleading
